Our Founder

The company was founded in 1996 by Ms Victoria Onayemi BA (Hons) ACCT, FMAAT and incorporated in 2001.  Victoria is a Licenced and Registered accountant in England & Wales, with over 30 years’ experience in practical accounting and taxation work. Prior to setting up the firm, she worked with one of the big four Accountancy Firms “PricewaterhouseCoopers”; where she gained immense experience in accounting and managing numerous clients. Victoria also worked as an internal audit consultant with the Audit Commission and the London Borough of Richmond which gave her a broad experience of the private and public sectors.

After gaining extensive experience with some of the UK’s leading accountancy firms, Victoria Onayemi chose to channel her expertise into building and leading successful businesses. She is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Vicom Group of Companies, which includes Vicom Accountancy Services Ltd, where she combines professional accounting knowledge with practical business leadership.

As Managing Director of Vicom International Ltd, Victoria is an Accredited Landlord who manages her own property portfolio and partners with property owners to co-host and manage Airbnb properties, helping investors maximise returns and generate sustainable passive income.

Through Vicom Mart Ltd (established in 2003) and Vicom Inter-Commercials (established in 2007), Victoria successfully partnered with the UK Post Office Ltd to operate two Sub Post Office franchises for a combined period of 20 years. Her exceptional commitment and service were recognised with a Commendation Certificate at the conclusion of her partnership.

In 2014, Victoria achieved a significant milestone by establishing a brand-new Post Office branch from the ground up—an uncommon accomplishment at a time when most branches were already well established. Operating in a traditionally male-dominated sector, she successfully built the business into a high-performing branch, achieving record-breaking profitability within its first year of operation.

Victoria’s career reflects a unique combination of technical accounting expertise and hands-on commercial experience. She has not only advised businesses on financial matters but has also successfully built, managed, and grown businesses across multiple sectors. This practical experience gives her an in-depth understanding of business strategy, financial management, revenue growth, cost control, operational efficiency, and long-term business sustainability, enabling her to provide clients with advice grounded in real-world commercial success.

Outside of work, Victoria has a strong interest in mentoring and enjoys travelling and has a passion for dancing.
